It has, yeah! I hope you've been well! :D

Hehe, that's awesome! I've started meandering back even further to the turn of the millennium with all the quirky "y2k aesthetic" things. I just find it a lot more fun than all the black boring shit nowadays :D Also the tech gadgets are just way neater! A piece of hardware that does one thing just feels a lot more fun to me than a piece of software doing it. even if it's way less practical and honestly worse, haha! :D

Yes, indeed. Especially the latest MacOS has become quite heavy to run. I had a 2015 Mac Mini a while back, with some version I can't recall now, but it was feeling really pretty sluggish. So as long as the old versions work and do what I want, I feel no need to start messing around with them. :)

All well here, thanks :)

Y2K aesthetic is also wicked cool! I'm kind of going back and forth between preferring Y2K and 2000s aesthetic... currently I'm big into WinXP, which I guess is right on the edge between the two.

But yeah, today everything is a shiny slab of glass, that's just not interesting at all.

Sweet!

Right?! It's awesome. It's fun to see transparent and translucent electronics making a comeback, but it's a far cry from all the epic stuff that was available all those years ago.
I've started tinkering with XP again too! It's very fitting for that era for sure. I'm planning on doing XP for OCC this year, and turn it into a complete early 2000s experience, as one does. :D

It's just depressing to see all the modern electronics. Everything looks the same. It's all straight edges, glass, black and no flare at all. Boooring!
