Since there are a couple other 9fronters in, y'all might wanna take a look at imgpick in my src folder. Basically it's a theme generator which lets you pick your colors from an image (usually the one I intend to be my wallpaper.) I like to think it works pretty well, at least for me

Kinda makes me want to try and patch /dev/theme support into some other 9front programs though. Get acme and/or sam to respect my color preferences.

We discussed why on IRC. Basically your browser is trying to force-load the image as https but my site is only served as http.

It actually is available over http, but if you have an existing https session your browser tries that first I think. It's super annoying.
