I like that everyone is coming up with great ideas, but that also kinda fragments the challenge a bit if everybody is doing something different, instead of all of us trying the same thing... But then maybe that also makes it interesting, to read and talk about what kind of crazy things other people ...

Solene announced on IRC that the rules for this year are to limit computer use to 1h per day... not a bad idea in general, but I'm a little worried about this killing the community aspect of the challenge.

That's a very nice setup! And a great project, converting this to 12V power supply.

Out of curiosity, have you measured how much energy this whole setup consumes?

Oh these look very nice, with the case you can create a cable that looks professional, unlike my janky heatshrink-wrapped solution :lol:
