I think it went very well. The roll your own format worked out, and I wonder if this would be a better format going forward. Just a week of "used an old device or something completely different".

Some people had some imaginative setups and ran into odd issues that was fun to read about.

For OpenBSD it is recommended to install X, which I did. I set this up after a friend gave me that system a while ago. She was throwing it out, so I grabbed it from her.

But I will not start xdm, without xdm X is really unusable under OpenBSD.

I am doing 1989, it is around the time I got a UNIX system at work. I will set up OpenBSD on an old Laptop to emulate that old system.
