I don't quite track to 20 years ago, but switching to a normal clock radio years ago (I don't even remember at this point. 4? 5?) was great (though just not using an alarm clock is better.) I've gotten around it by telnetting into a machine on my LAN then using that to ssh out. No reason you couldn't do what you said and configure something with ssh1 then give it a dropbear or similar with ssh2 though. What's the old system we're talking about here? If your Old Computer is Windows then...

The makefile ought to have worked fine on FreeBSD, it wants bsdmake.

We're now up to 1.4 which notably adds image support after my Japan trip. I also made it so that you do

Nah, these are on a Nokia G400, just mangled by my script.
Most of the camera photos were unfortunately ruined (I forgot how long it takes to get it to autofocus)
