this looks like such a dumpster fire, but I *am* morbidly curious how well it would run on an old nugget I have lying around

tl;dr: some absolute madman backported a bunch of Vista+ features to XP, then stole code from wine/reactos to backport windows APIs to allow for "compatibility modes" for future versions of windows.
